McDonalds McRib : Behold the Barbecue wonder. “The tasty fan favorite slathered in tangy barbecue sauce, slivered onions and tart pickles all on a hoagie style bun.”

Strangely, growing up in the southern, I had eaten enough BBQ riblet sandwiches at school to know not to order it from McDonalds. The McRib concept was very weird to me. A boneless, but rib shaped pork pattie on a bun. Evenly though you can’t chew through bones, the purposely shaped the pattie with bones. As sooon as I thought about the amount of processing that had to go into making a pork pattie, I stopped eating them. Why would they make a McRib or Riblet or a pulled pork sandwich? Probably a lot cheaper. But forget what I think, the McRib has a cult following. People worship this thing and it has re-emerged on the McDonalds menu. So vegan-ize it, we will.

Vegan/Vegetarian BBQ Pork Sandwich

It’s really cool. I love the veganism and your video. So thank you. If I could suggest something maybe make your own “rib”. So more people would be able to do it too. :)

I live in Atlanta, but cannot find these anywhere! Where did you purchase the riblets from? Thank you so much :)
