I have never been to In-N-Out, but it is all the rave. Ever since I started watching YouTube and got more West Coast friends, all I have heard about is In-N-Out Burger and Animal Style Fries. Since the show has now turned into the veganization of everything fantastic, I decided to make my own Animal Style Fries at home.

Ingredients:
4 large potatoes
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 medium size sweet onion
2 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon of pepper
2 slice of vegan cheese
1/3 cup vegan 1000 Island Dressing
Description:
Clean each potato with warm water. Slice each potato in half, then slice each half into 5 to 7 pieces.
Fill a large bowl with warm water and submerge potato slices into the water to remove the starch. All them to sit for about 10 minutes.
Place a small skillet over medium-low heat and drizzle in 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Thinly slice the onion and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes with 1 teaspoon salt. Stir occasionally.
Preheat oven to 475 degrees F. Drain the water and dry with a paper towel.
Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon salt, and pepper to the bowl of potato slices. Get your hands dirty and massage the seasonings into the potatoes.
Place an oven safe cooling rack or baking rack on top of a baking sheet. You will probably need two of these setups.
Neatly place the potato slices on top of the racks. Bake for 15 minutes, rotate the pans, then bake for an additional 10 minutes.
When you baked French fries are done, pile as many as you want on to a plate. Top with vegan cheese, caramelized onions, and vegan thousand island dressing.
Enjoy.
