Day 12: Vegan Peach Ice Cream Recipe – Southern Queen of Vegan Cuisine Project

by TheSweetestVegan on July 19, 2012

Peaches? Ice Cream? Who can say no. If you are vegan or dairy intolerant, say no, no more. Here is a great recipe for vegan peach ice cream that everyone can enjoy.
Serves 8

Vegan Peach Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon ground flax seed
2 Peaches, sliced and frozen
2 bananas

Directions:

Stir ground flax seeds into a cup with the water until a thick slimy consistency is achieved.

To a food processor, add frozen peach slices and frozen banana. Process until completely smooth and evenly combined.

Continue to process and using the spout attachment, pour in flax seed mixture.

Once flax seeds are evenly distributed, your vegan peach ice cream is ready!

Eat on a hot summer day. It’s peach season. Enjoy.

My Verdict:

Delicious. It had a creamy texture and great flavor. I thought I would have to add sugar, because my fruits were not at peak ripeness. I forgot to add the sugar, and did not even know it. My vegan peach ice cream turned out simple, pure, raw, wholesome, and tasty.
